Of counsel in energy and environment matters

He has more than 38 years of experience working at Pemex, company in which he occupied different positions among them the Subdirección de Planeación of Pemex Petroquímica and the Environmental Protection Corporate Audit Office, in which he established the networks for efficient use and saving of energy and water, the Institutional Group for Climate Change and the Sustainable Development Program. In addition, he was in charge of the Dirección de Seguridad Industrial y Protección al Ambiente and was responsible for the engineering of three Pemex petrochemical projects at the cities of Frankfurt, Bad Soden and Munich in Germany.

 

He is a chemical engineer by the Chemistry School of the UNAM, university at which he taught for more than 14 years. He has performed planning, project, financing and management studies.
